It's a beautiful Cafe owned by the govt of pondy. It's right on the sea so you can enjoy the sea breeze and the view . Order for some cold coffee and French fries . It's open 24 hours .

Le Cafe is the 24 hr coffee shop located at Goubert avenue.u can visit it late in the night about 1 am so that u can have a cup of coffee listening to the sounds of waves.

Le Café is a tourist information centre and a café selling delightful pastries with an amazing view of the ocean and the promenade. The café also has a nice rooftop .

The view here is to die for. Situated right at the edge of the promenade, and is really breezy . Food isn't bad either.

Average food, Good coffees and excellent ambience! Prices are a bit steep but would not called them exorbitant either! Highly Recommended. Choose tables by the sea in the evening and enjoy the breeze!

This Is the only place for Late night cravings, that's right it's 24hrs .. Food is pretty decent for a govt owned cafe .!chicken sandwich , brownie with ice cream and hot chocolate is the good.

If you reach Pondy very early in the morning this is an awesome place to enjoy the sunrise over a warm cup of coffee .

go there, any time of the day, and have some coffee . the view is so serene and beautiful, you wouldn't mind the slow service at all ! oh and the chocolate brownie is delightful.

A breezy beach view ambience. The food is not all that great but an amazing place to sit out and read a book or work on something in your laptop.

Staff seems as lazy as the waves. The coffee though is mind blowingly good. I had the Moccacino and the Cafe Affogato ,quite superb.

Roof top is good. But if you get a poace on the ground floor, avoid. Angry waiters , rude behaviour, but good fried n coffees ... try hibiscus soda .... lovely!

Coffee and tea selection is good. Government run shop, and location is awesome for evening coffee . French fries are pretty good as well .

Omelette and toast for 100 rs comes with coffee . Best value for money .

Beverages are not so good. But nice place to relax , stretch out and spend long time with friends.. Esp @ midnight.

The only plus point of this place is that you can sit here and enjoy coffee with breeze of sea. When we were here they were not giving any French cuisine . Rest all is average.

Great south indian breakfast which is twice cheaper than continental one. Though it's not for guys who can't eat spicy food

Lasagna is good.. Hibiscus lemon soda is worth a try... Service occasionally sucks during rush hours..

Only thing going good about this place is the view . It's pretty breezy and WiFi is free. Lasagna is bad(literally milk and bread ) and grilled chicken was cold and overcooked. Avoid the food.

Let the government take over prime real estate and you get great views , average food, cheap prices and shit service. Then again, the view evens out the bad.
