My wife and I stop here any time we head north of Duluth. The Pecan Caramel Apple Pie is amazing...especially on a cold day! We have only dined here once and it was good, but the pie is worth it!
The French Apple pie is amazing. Great cinnamon flavor in the perfectly cooked apples , and the top crumble is a welcome flavor & texture addition. It's basically heaven in your mouth.
The Lemon Dream pie is the best lemon meringue I've ever had. It's packed with flavor and wonderful texture. If you love lemon pies , this'll make you one happy camper!
Best pie on the north shore ! Suck it Betty! Peanut butter pie is to die for. Smoked salmon sandwich is great too, and they have tots ! What more do you want?
We had Rhubarb and. Blueberry crumb pie . Both we're scrumptious. can't wait to bite into the full North Shore crumb pie . Apple, Rhubarb , blueberry and strawberry .
The wild rice meatloaf with mashed potatoes is stellar! The Northshore berry pie with crumb topping was a great dessert choice. Highly recommend this place.
The walleye cakes were the best I'd ever had, maybe for the homemade tartar sauce alone. They're a bit heavy, so share with a friend or four.
I recommend the "more than a sandwich " meals and any of the lunch combos , but oh my that pie is good. A slice of the summer berry pie and lemon angel pie were perfection.
This place is a more upscale , better tasting version of Betty's Pies . It's well worth driving the additional miles up the north shore .
First visit here was amazing. Our return trip with friends resulted in waiting 45 minutes after ordering only pie before getting up to ask what was taking so long. Sorely disappointing experience.
Fantastic smoked salmon and cream cheese omelet . Lunch with a turkey sandwich with homemade wild rice bread . Thanksgiving in one hand.
Best food on the North Shore hands down! Be sure to try the walleye cakes & North Shore Berry Crumble Pie . They are the bomb!!
The Cuban is to die for! It's not a traditional style but an interesting take on it. #garliclover
The wild rice meat loaf is definitely good comfort food , but nothing mind blowing or worth calling home about.
Had the walleye cakes & turkey sandwich/pie combo. Delicious! Highly recommended
Amazing pies , and chocolates ! Also very friendly and Great service!!
Love this place! But they need more employees.
Angel Lemon pie is amazing.
The food is uniformly excellent, but the real attraction is the pie .
Try the Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie . {Rhubarb only came to the US in 1820. It was prized along the River Volga in Russia for centuries and known in China for over 4500 years.}
The lemon meringue cream with the angel food cake crust is oh my my my my!!! Wow!!!
Probably some of the most amazing food north of the Twin Cities .
Their meringue crust pies are DELICIOUS. Try the lemon angel or raspberry cream!
Get the walleye cakes !!!

The ooey-gooey apple caramel pecan pie is a dessert explosion that must be seen and tasted to be fully believed. Read more
Leaving this place without a piece of pie is like going to church and not saying 'amen.'
The ribs are fabulous with homemade barbecue sauce ! Great food and great service!
*Caution* coffee cake has rhubarb . Expecially dangerous if you have a severe rhubarb allergy.
The food here is AMAZING. One of best breakfasts I have ever had.
Shepherd's pie is worth the trip! Outstanding comfort food .
Fabulous pies ! Beats Betty's Pies hands down.
Great meatloaf
Lemon meringue cream pie !
Cuban and pies
Do not get the barbecue chicken salad !!!!!!
the pies are really good
Turkey cranberry sandwich is great
Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood pies . :D
Good food but staff is very rude , not friendly at all
The wild rice soup is delicious! So is the venison quesadillas. The view is breathtaking. - Adrienne Roth
Lemon Angel pie. Nice lemon flavor and a 3-hour, slow-cooked meringue crust. Yum! - Dave Sawyer
Very little service available during the off season. Only 1 server / bartender & host on duty when we went midweek - so slow service. - ???? June T ????
Cool state park. Great campsites, clean facilities, amazing views of the Superior Lake and the start of the Gichi Gami Trail. - Albert M
Gorgeous views and interactive history make this a must! It's $10 to enter, but worth it. The store is worth a stop as well. Hike down to the beach for an amazing view right on the water. - Corey Partin
Way over priced! - Kelly Harris
