One of the few sandy beaches in Malta , but hard access to the water as there is belt of stones as you enter the sea. Hard to get over it and not very pleasant for peaceful entry to the water.

Dan Colceriu

This had the best water I experienced in Malta. So clear and wild, we saw a live octopus near the rocks while snorkeling . Take your GoPro

Rainbow flags means Matthew Sammut is swimming in the water. Otherwise bring a cooler full of beer and just fry for a few hours. Be careful of bees though, they'll try to steal it when you look away.

Alberto Sanchez

Beautiful sandy beach , red one, but beware of the local bar : Rose 's. Run away for your life!!

Rosa Garcia

This is the best beach in Malta and Gozo. We stayed at a traditional B&B in Nadur, and walked down the valley to the best. It's a must go!!!!

Cin Dy

The beach looks beautiful but you need shoes to go into the water because there are lots of stones !

Mert

Awesome sand but the sea is full of stones

Phyl Stubbs

Several picnic benches , good for eating at, even in the Winter months!

Corrado Peig Paolucci

Fantastic beach , the water is always limpid. You can also have a picnic on the table between bar and beach

Seren K

Beautiful reddish sandy beach , the water is very clear and relaxing to swim&spend the day.

Arielle

Watch out for jelly fish . If you do get stung the shops have some after bite to take the stinging / swelling down

Alex Dobyan

Really nice beach , water is warm, can be crowded so you may want to go early in the day.

Daniel Dias

Beautiful sandy, very secure beach which holds the prestigious blue flag . E.R.R.C. Lifeguards keep the bay safe.

Maria Lodenborg

Warmly recommend to visit "Sunscape Festival " in Gozo. Once a year in July.

Fiona Laycy

A fine sandy beach on the north coast of Gozo. Said to be the best beach on either Gozo or Malta. It's name means "sandy".

Giuseppe Macis

Sex on fire at the Ramla Bay.
