Calypso Cave is a cave Xagħra located in Malta.
Xagħra Malta
Described by Homer as Calypso's dwelling place. Prehistoric shards of the Ggantija phase 3600BC have been found a few metres away from the mouth of the cave .
The cave it's closed! Climb at your own risk! Nice viewpoint, but the cave it's closed since may 2012.
Don't bother trying to find the cave , you won't.
The cave has collapsed.
The cave is under construction since 2012
Great view on Ramla Bay
The view is nice but actually found no cave there.
Leider derzeit in Restauration - der Blick auf die Ramla Bay entschädigt jedoch mehr als dafür
Sin duda el mejor paisaje de todo el archipiélago
Best accessed from the beach. Half an hour walk. - Trond Enger
Nice kid friendly beach, not busy, nice clear water, nice view and restaurants - Henrico Lebbink
Fantastic beach, the water is always limpid. You can also have a picnic on the table between bar and beach - Corrado Peig Paolucci
The temples are very, v very interesting and the site is in good enough shape to be worth a visit. Large rooms, humongous stones and tons of questions. - Petri Aukia
The citadel itself is free and the views across the island are fantastic. The small museums inside are rather dated and uninteresting - only visit if you have free entry with a Discover Gozo ticket - K B
