Have a walk on top of the fortress and notice that you can see most of the island also notice that as you go around the edge of the fortress you can see all the churches of the island facing you.

Quite an interesting bit of architecture .. makes you feel tiny in comparison to its huge walls. Gives you a great lookout point but don't lean on those rails..they look unstable. Great place to visit

Even there is an construction area you have got a wonderful view all over Gozo and a view little museum .

The citadel itself is free and the views across the island are fantastic. The small museums inside are rather dated and uninteresting - only visit if you have free entry with a Discover Gozo ticket

The citadel and views are amazing. But the museums were a bit disappointing so if you're on the fence, skip 'em.

A beautiful fort with a great lookout - though it seemed there was a fair bit of construction going on.

It's end June and still very windy , yet views are breathtaking! Worth the way up here.
