One of the most well-maintained sites in Malta . It's small, but worth a visit, as long as you have an imagination that can help you see beyond the pile of rocks.
Not the largest neolithic site on the Maltese Islands , it is a must see when visiting Gozo. The exhibition is lovingly curated &the site itself well administered between presentation& preservation.
The temples are very, v very interesting and the site is in good enough shape to be worth a visit. Large rooms, humongous stones and tons of questions.
Interesting temples and museum . But if you are limited in time and have to choose between attractions I recommend to visit Hagar Qim (Malta ) instead. There are more buildings in better condition.
It is pretty interesting, and they recently added a new museum that is worth the walk-through.
It's old... Perhaps the oldest temple .. Use your imagination and read up on the history before going.. New information centre is ok but had limited indepth info about the temple ..
Quite impressed with the atmosphere. If not too many people are around, get some contemplating in. We are not do different from 6000 years ago
Interesting temples and museum . But if you are limited in time and have to choose between attractions I recommend to visit Hagar Qim (Malta ) instead.
It's fascinating to see structures that are over 3000 years old and read about the people who lived there.
For €9 it's a bit too much for very tiny small preserved rocks with hardly explanations of history. You're out by 30minutes. Waste of time!
Known in the past as "The Giant's Tower", this is the best preserved prehistoric temple .
Well looking building which tells a lot about our past
500 years older than Stonehenge plus has wheelchair access .
Probably a must see, but I found enterance too expensive . Way smaller than expected
UNESCO World heritage site
So much still to be discovered
Impactante, hay una columna frente los templos con una explicación en varios idiomas, incluido el castellano.
Mdina is a must-visit when on Malta. It's very pictoresque and with plenty of opportunities for great photos as well as pleasant afternoon tea. Go to Fontanella tea rooms on the ramparts. - Guido Gybels
Perfect for photos, best at sunset! - Csaba Vago
Nice addition to the temple visit. Some interesting facts about grain production during WWII - Geert Van Lent
This is the best beach in Malta and Gozo. We stayed at a traditional B&B in Nadur, and walked down the valley to the best. It's a must go!!!! - Rosa Garcia
The citadel itself is free and the views across the island are fantastic. The small museums inside are rather dated and uninteresting - only visit if you have free entry with a Discover Gozo ticket - K B
