I elected this restaurant/café as the second best of Tartu. Cakes are delicious, perfect for tea time with friends! I recommend the nõhk cake and britta cake . And of course the carrot (porgand) cake .

Delicious food, cakes , good prices for us (Slovaks :)), we had beef soup - it was very tasty, waitress was nice! We will come here again, if visiting Tartu.

There's a restaurant upstairs, which serves simple yet wonderfully done and amazingly presented food. Very classy , and yet cheap (4-14€). A must see/taste.

Tasty and delicious quiches , cakes and chocolates . Chai latte - superb! Sadly outdoor seating allows smoking.

Definitely the coziest and most welcoming cafe / lounge in Tartu. Their enormous dessert variety is a dream come true for sweet tooths! Only their quiche has failed my expectations.All in all, lovely!

Enormous cafe latte , good variety of cakes which are all made in their own kitchen. When downstairs you don't find place to sit, go upstairs - there you find warm food also.

Salmon pasta is now made with spinach not shrimp as it says on some of the English menus, but it tastes surprisingly good. Though this place is mainly a must for the coffee , most days anyway.

Probably the best desserts and sweets in town . They also constantly update their selection of bakeries so it is always fun to try something new. :)

Very avrg. experience re: food (duck breast , chicken breast and few pastas ). Had somr discrepancies in the bill where (presumably novice) waitress charged us for a kg of desert cake rather then slice.

Hiatoric Cafe is better than anything else you can find in Tartu. Food is good and affordable .

They serve delicious buffet breakfast on weekdays from 7.30 - 11.30! You can even make waffles :)

Legendary place. If you visit Tartu, you should also take you cake and coffee from this place.

They have REAL American style cheesecake !! It's fantastic!! Koorene cheesecake--try it out! :-)
