This market is way much better than Carmel market in Tel Aviv. The vendors are much nicer, the market is cleaner, the prices are friendlier. Lots of choice and lots of great spots to eat there.

If you come here and are hungry, for God's sake try something other than falafel ! Try Kubeh (Iraqi) at Ima Kubeh Bar or at Rachmo. Try Hatchipouri (Georgian) at Hatchipouri. Be bold and daring!

Be sure to check out the secret Iraqi Shuk in the alleyways off the outdoor shuk - the opposite direction of the indoor. Try to join the backgammon games and be prepared for strong Turkish coffee !
