Five star food! Must tries: vinegar chicken , calamari tempura , spicy Mexican Jambalaya fried with Japanese rice , eggplant gratin and one of their white chocolate cocktails !
Great fries , fried chicken in vinegar sauce , Mexican jambalaya , eggplant Gratin , and desserts , but the curry rice misses the mark despite being a "specialty"
Curry rice and fried chicken are great! Don’t miss ‘The Tale of Naoshima’ Shooga muginosake beer . It’s a local micro brew and if you like ginger , maybe the best beer you will have in Japan.
A great place for lunch near Miyanoura Port (we loved the curry rice ). You can also rent bikes here!
Nice little restaurant that accepts foreign credit cards. You'll meet a lot of other travellers here.

Cafe is next to the shop on the 3rd flr. Must try the area's specialty: Setouchi Olive Pop! Food is seasonal and we had pumpkin soup that look thin but was actually rather creamy and yummylicious! - Elle
