The mall is absolutely WOW. You may find everything here: from souvenirs (much better than in Tokyu Hands in Tokyo) to luxury brands and local designers.

Grab a bento in the basement an hour or so before closing. Usually ¥200+ discounts on a box, though not a huge selection left.

This mall is just wow. I love what they did with the escalators - they give people a better view of the building & Kyoto Station.

THE most incredible food floor on B1. Perfect place to select gifts for friends at home

Kokekoko on the 10th floor for grilled chicken skews. Overlooking the Kyoto sky tower.

Inside the station building, Isetan's kid’s floor has a small soft play area (at no cost ) on the 7th floor.

Love this department store , and the one on Osaka too.

It's slightly convoluted but this is a fun dept store to explore

地下のお茶売り場の立地がえらい分かりにくかった。漬物 、お茶、和菓子 、京都の有名な店は大体入ってます。

JRの南北通路に直結した二階入り口を入ってエレベーターの奥に、京都の作家モノの雑貨 や小物 の売り場がある。運が良ければ手作り 作家のアクセサリー 等を扱った店が年4回程出ているようなので、自分へのお土産 を買いそびれたワーキングウーマンに是非オススメ したい。お値段は手作り モノにしてはやや高めだが、コンセプチュアルな作品が多く、見ているだけでも楽しい。

奥さんの実家へ行く途中で、お菓子 とお酒 を購入することが恒例行事となっている。

帰る時におみやげと新幹線で持ち込める食料を必ずデパ地下で確保する。京都で名品や帰り際に弁当 を買うのはすごくお勧め
