Ludwig 2nd grew up here at Schloss Hohenschwangau. It's not as overwhelming as Schloss Neuschwanstein but it's worth a visit. Reserve tickets online to save time at the ticket center.

Go here before Neuschwanstein to get an idea about the history of Ludwig II . The guide is recommended, however for a multilinguistic group audio guides are better. Book tickets online or early morning

You can walk up around the grounds without buying a ticket. This saves money and 60 min of waiting in line , plus the 30 min tour of the inside is forgettable.

More completely decorated than its bigger cousin up the hill , tour feels similarly rushed though

Not so visited as Neuschwanstein , but also really interesting if you know a bit about king Ludwig II 's life

Great paintings . No photographing permitted, except for a window view to the lake . Nice garden .

The garden and the view from there are nice but the interior of the castle was disappointing. Avoid the visit and save money and time for the other attractions .

It's not a long or very steep road , so you might as well walk. Horses seemed exhausted and driver was surly.

There is a shortcut from across Hotel Alpstunben.

Die Führung (~30min) zeigt die repräsentativen und toll erhaltenen Räume des ersten und zweiten Stocks des Schlosses . Unser Guide war versiert und offen für Fragen . Mehr Zeit wäre toll gewesen!

El lugar está increíble, hay que llegar temprano para aprovechar el día, la visita a los castillos es en tour y tiene costó aproximado de 12€ pero no compres para el Museo , no lo vale.

Para os brasileiros, da pra vir de carro onde tem um estacionamento e depois compre os ticket, tem audio guia em português bastante funcional. Mas é com hora marcada, por isto cheque cedo para comprar

Замок классный, хоть и не такой популярный, как его замок-сосед. Отличное садово-парковое оформление

Wunderschönes Schloss , alles noch Original erhalten. Tolle Führung , es wurde auf alle Fragen eingegangen. Auch der Schlossgarten ist schön , klein aber fein. Kombiticket beachten,Ticket vorher buchen.

Nicht ganz so überlaufen wie schloß Neuschwanstein. Es ist gut erhalten und man kann viele Räume besichtigen. Am besten Karten vorbestellen :)

Göle yakınlığı ile beni benden alan kale :) zamanında osmanlı ziyaretine gidilmiş prenses odası o tarz yapılmış,ama aslında osmanlıların yardımlarından dolayı geldikleri zaman ağırlamaları için varmış.

Неимоверная красота! Безумно жаль, что внутри любая съемка запрещена. Да и экскурсии устроены так, что фотографировать просто некогда! Просто ходишь везде, разинув рот). Аудио гид на русском).

Top-Tipp: Tickets für die Schlösser nicht im Ticket-Store, sondern im Museum der bayrischen Könige (am Ende der Straße beim Alpsee) kaufen. Dort ist es fast immer leer!

В отличие от Neuschwanstein , у этого замка потрясающая территория: балкончики, клумбочки, беседочки, вокруг которых приятно побродить.

Если обойти замок (правее от входа на экскурсию ), можно понаблюдать чудеснейший вид :)

23евро за оба замка . Не знаю почему этот замок менее посещаем чем Нойшванштайн. Он стоит того чтоб в него заглянуть, очень красивые интерьеры , фрески , гобелены....

Потрясающий замок . На мой взгляд, даже интересней Нойшвайнштайна. Повозку для подъема не берите, дорога короткая и очень живописная.
