【国宝 】南禅寺の方丈は大方丈とその背後に接続した小方丈からなる。大方丈は内陣、御昼の間、鳴滝の間、麝香の間、鶴の間、西の間、柳の間、六畳、狭屋の間、広縁より成る入母屋造、杮(こけら)葺。小方丈は虎の間、三室(九畳、六畳、二十畳)広縁よりなり、背面切妻造、前面大方丈に接続、杮葺となっている。
後期式枯山水。小堀遠州の作。
It is pure magic how the gravel is raked into patterns. Well worth the ¥400 entry fee, which is separate from the other gardens on site. - Ashley Rose
Clean fresh air & 12 temples. 🚪🤴🏽The brown door is the only opened for the Emperor . An old railway and apparently there are signs put up mentioning monkeys🐒🤷🏻♀️ 1 temple is a medical center. - Just Me .. @what_food23
