煮たり焼いたりして食べていたお豆腐 を、冬場にお客様をもてなすために、初めて温めて出したと伝わる、寛永12年創業、380年以上続く老舗の湯豆腐店です。メニューは潔く『湯どうふ一通り』のみ。炒りごま 豆腐 、豆腐 の田楽、天ぷら 、湯豆腐、自然薯とご飯 のコース です。南禅寺の境内にありますので、営業は夕方まで。ラストオーダー の時間はありますが、お豆腐 が無くなり次第終了となります。定休日は木曜日です
創業以来350年に渡り、庭のほとりでゆとうふをいただける。まず器にとうふを取り、九条ネギをたっぷり、山椒 、特製つゆ をかける。
