I think it's a shame that the gardens have a fee now although I can imagine the upkeep is costly. Beautiful place.

Park at the tennis courts by Serpentine rd, walk down Serpentine, past the rec centre, by the beach , up the hill , back to your car. 3km.

Free for students, alumni and their families, plus a discount at the Gift Shop . Love this place.

The history of the building and grounds is quite dull. The gardens are stunning though

Only got to take a picture of the exterior part. Apparently they do not offer tours after summer. The stroll around the castle grounds were okay though

Walk the creek from the lagoon the the Goose in order to see both waterfalls .
