Masabaha $18 is primarily boiled chickpeas mixed with chopped onions & chilli , with tahini & sauce poured over. Sliced hard boiled egg tops the dish. Clean-tasting
Pita pocket. Think of it as half a pita bread , stuffed in the middle, like a sandwich . Enjoyed Fish & Chips $22 (left), but felt beef & lamb moussaka $23 made the bread too soggy to enjoy
Many flavours for their Kombucha drink ($10). We saw pineapple , mango , blood orange , ginger lemon , passion fruit , peach
Pita candy brisket . Enjoyed this very much. Balanced flavours of sweet, savoury & sour. Lots of textures with every bite
Water. When place gets busy, don’t be shy to walk to front of bar & help yourself to cups of water from the “beer ” dispenser. It’s cold water
Hraime $17. Spicy barramundi stew with bread to dip . Not super spicy that you break a sweat, but gives added dimension. Tasty. I’d eat this again
Israeli wines available, even by the glass. When we were here, there were 4 Israeli wine options available. Confirm pricing as they’re quite different
Their more ‘atas’ (classier ) joint nearby at Amoy St stock Israeli wines by the Bin Nun label. 6 types available
Complimentary pita with tahini dip , & grilled green chilli — while u decide what to order
Simple menu. Choose from either pocket pita (pita sandwiches ) or NOT — or both!
Batata $12. Roasted sweet potato . Extremely soft (ours was too soft), & overly burnt on the outside
Food was good but overpriced. Try the ratatouille plate and choc mousse dessert (rich choc lovers). Abu Kebab was good meatball pita but wasn’t worth $24. Had to make reservations 1 month in advance.
Massouka and chicken pita were great! CBD prices though.
Get the cauliflower pita - it a absolutely delicious
Like their artichoke !
Awesome food!
Food is good but they have some serious front of house issues. Staff very unfriendly and reluctant to help when you show up without reservations . Terrible service.
The prices are too high for the food.
Humusi topped with prawns in beurre noisette (brown butter) $33. Sinful but so tasty. Oily sauce adds another dimension to the hummus dip. Great for sharing - Cheen The Curious
The Falafel Pita was really delicious. The texture was crunchy and the pita was nice and hot. The chilli sauce is a must if you like spicy food. - Grace Alexandra
Rib eye was juicy and tasty. I expect other meals to be tastier. There's still way to go; I think. - Mehmet Saracoglu
Come for the single origin Columbian coffee, eggs Benedict, nitro cold brew and the relaxing atmosphere... - Brandon Schmittling
