one of the most beautiful hotels in town ; ask for a room with view to the river , the other side might be loud . Restaurant a very good address in BSL (and open on Mondays!)

Love the restaurant : light and flavorful menu. The fish soup is delightful and the white asparagus (seasonal) is amazing.

Very impressive restaurant , to be recommended if you're in Basel. Very friendly , knowledgeable staff , great wine , and the food was, not only awesome, but had lots of surprises. Not too pricey either.

The rooms are large. Setup is like an apt w/o kitchen. The hotel is in 2 bldgs - the one along the Rhein and the other in an alley off Rheingasse. Ask for the Rhein side. No aircon

Love the Rooms on the Rhine side. Is a bit noisy due to location but really gives you a glimpse into life in basel. Room is simple modern and Not flashy. Doesn't give you the typical hotel vibe.

Great restaurant but hotel location too noisy for a good night sleep. Bed was dusty, no aircon and too noisy outside to open window. Very disappointed as hotel so good in lots of area

Nice hotel with specialities

Rooms across the street are quieter but lack the view . These really feel more like a simple modern apartment . It's more private and away from the other hotel guests in the main bldg.

High standing restaurant , very charming. food was nice, highly to recommend. surprising: Service was pushy to bring food but not for serving wine and bread . Nice wine choice. Moderate high price.
