This the biggest, cleanest, and friendliest rental place I've ever been in! I couldn't find my car and a very nice budget employee went and got it for me so I wouldn't have to drag my luggage all over

Follow the signs, not your GPS. Return area not clearly marked when coming in from 121. Drive around aimlessly, then wait. Get your car checked in then wait. Find your shuttle then wait.

Better leave at least 3ins from drop-off to arriving at terminal. Allow 45mins or more if a peak travel time , or you'll miss your flight . TSA lines slow. No pre-check at gates C25-35

Skip the daily all in toll pass & avoid tolls on your Google maps, u might get charged a few times & need to pay the day rate @$10 for hertz+any tolls on top, still cheaper than full week at $15 daily

The complimentary water the staff walked around serving was right on time! And the Yukon XL we rented was nice, clean and smelled like a new car.

Remember to fill your tank before turning in to the center or they'll charge for premium gas & you'll get gouged

Sixt is impressive.each time I’ve come, the cars have been clean and relatively low mileage. Good cash back when booked through ebates.

Hertz line was much quicker compared to budget and Avis, car selection is kinda limited though

Monday thru Wednesday we are very short on cars, so don't bitch about it. The greeters are not responsible for this.Try to rent between thursday and sunday.Don't believe the rental agent NEVER.

If you are in a rental car you can drive through the airport highway with no toll. You may have to tell the attendant it's a rental.

The center itself is fast and easy. Getting there on the shuttle takes a while.

Really easy to get in and out of. Shuttles are consistent and the place is really clean .

Buy your gas before you get the rental return exit. I purchased gas at $3.15 before I got there and the gas station there wanted $3.79. Yahoo!!!!

Off site all in one location. National Emerald Isle was well stocked. Very efficient return process as well .

Get there early because it always takes longer for them to drive you back to the terminal

Seems like rental center 2 miles or more frm airport . Allow 30mins to get to terminal, more during peak travel periods.

LGoing to arrivals? The busses to the airport are aligned by airline and terminal. Check the signs!

Hertz very accommodating on one-way rental after our flight was cancelled. Other places tried to rake us over the coals on price. Enterprise wanted $900 for one-way rental and two hour drive.

In the morning, if you miss the bus you can wait 15 minutes before another one comes...Don't miss the bus !

Does the job, but beware of the toll offers. You don’t need there $11 dollar a day bologna offering.

Sometimes the flight board is wrong or you take the bus to the wrong terminal. Don't sweat it. Every terminal is connected by SkyLink. But you need a boarding pass to get through TSA.

Taking the bus to or from the airport is about a 15 minute ride. Plan accordingly!

If in a rush, some rental companies allow you to leave the keys in the car and receive a receipt online.

The DFW airport and the Rental Car center are in separate zip codes. Seriously. Leave plenty of time to drop your car.

Rental car taxes are extremely high at DFW. Beware. Use online coupons to help offset the costs. Never pay the initial quoted prices because you can always get discounts using codes given out online.

Don't panic if you forget to fuel up on return - there is a gas station right before the rental return depot.

Travel time to and from the terminals is 7 to 14 minutes with terminal E being the closest and terminal A being the furthest away. Return your car an hour before your boarding time.

I got a car for $13 per day. Not sure what the "pricey " references are about except maybe high demand season? Today is June 28th for reference.

Rent from hertz and upgrade to a gold member.. You'll never be disappointed :)

Buses run very slow for early flights ! Make sure to give yourself enough time.

American Airlines is in multiple terminals. You actually have to check your particular flight to see which one to go to.

Morning bus really slow. Plan you time well if you have a flight 5 or 6 am.

Shell station is there right before you return the car. Little expensive , but saves you lot of time.

The rental car center is nicer and cleaner than most airports .

The airport TSA told me the printed out passes from the car rental often don't scan. Has happened to me twice here. Maybe temporary but FYI it kept me from TSA pre screening.

You can check in (w/o luggage) for your flight at the 2 kiosks on the second floor. It'll save you lots of time!
