Don't let them put you on floor S midweek. There are bars/clubs outside that can be heard into the night. Complained the morning after and the receptionist argued the toss with me! Rubbish!
Good hotel , try the Executive Rooms for a bed that you can literally spin around in and not touch the sides ! They are huge beds !!
Rooms very clean , location very convenient - just 500m from main train station (if you need to go to airport in the morning - it's perfect).
Ideally situated for a night-out in Birmingham. For a fun Saturday night, just spend the evening on the hotel bar veranda and watch drunken idiots pass by!
Get a room at the back to avoid all night traffic noise and Birmingham's finest drunks at the take-aways across the road .

Holiday Inn in Europe(at least DE&PL) has not so bad breakfast , but this one had one of the worst breakfast I had in this chain, unless you like english breakfast .

Recommend the restaurants and bars at the bak by the canal in the summer. They get the last of the sun as it sets offering a lovely warm evening to relax and soak it in. - Adam Stewart
