This was my favorite meal my whole time in Japan! My husband almost cried when we weren’t able to go back for round 2. We both had the dipping udon with mixed veggie and the beef and rice bowl

Tasty dipping udon with tempura . Restaurant is located on the main street before crossing the bridge .
There's a lot more than udon . Amazing experience, with authentic dishes .
Really great udon but the restaurant itself is fairly small and chock full of tourists (myself included of course) Good to try once but expect a wait

긴가쿠지(은각사)에 있는 유명한 우동집의 분점으로 일본산 밀을 사용한 수타 우동으로 가마아게 우동(釜揚げうどん, 삶은 우동면을 따뜻한 육수에 찍어서 먹는 우동)에 화학조미료나 식품첨가물을 전혀 사용하지 않고 다시마, 가츠오부시 등의 천연 식재료 만을 사용해 교토의 신선한 야채와 참깨를 넣어 먹는다. 가격은 우동이 1100¥ 세트메뉴 2100~3500¥이다.

buy food in the deli level at base floor. they have ALL! good for take away when use Shinkansen or eat in Hotel :) chinese food kiosk has chairs to eat there - Michael ????????
