While the crowds line up to see Old Faithful blow, go to the back to see more great geysers . Inside tip: You don't need the benches . Use that waiting time to see the other surrounding geysers .

Luke Johnson

Consider catching Old Faithful at night. It's still spectacular, and the crowds will be much thinner. Or consider visiting Yellowstone in the winter where your only other companions may be bison !

Abby Anderson Jones

Make sure to check it out, but be aware of the massive crowds. It goes off every 2 hours, give or take 10 minutes . There is a phone number you can call for the schedule.

Jay Eagleson

Old Faithful is the spot everyone hears about. It's prepared for the crowds as there is a huge watching area. There's plenty to do and eat around the area.

Erik Rowley

It really is a spectacular sight to behold and will send shivers down your spine (in a good way). A true American icon and wonderful experience.

Julia Lu

If you don’t want to battle the crowds in the viewing area you can watch from inside the visitors center or on the boardwalks near the honeycomb geyser .

Ju Le

Erupts every 90 minutes (+|- 10). Great place for a picnic during waiting time. Parking is crazy busy!! Bring some time here!

Matthew Berry

Use the wind to determine the best place to stand for the eruption . Stand on the side of Old Faithful opposite the way the wind is blowing the steam

Kevin Wilson

Every 90 minutes . No need to sit with the rest. Plenty of vantage points from the beehive path

Dylan Montz

Old Faithful goes off about every hour and a half. Get to the boardwalk about 15-20 minutes before it goes off for a better view . It gets CROWDED here.

Alyxx

They have a sign that states old faithful’s next eruption time and it gets crowded when the next eruption time is coming near, so be prepared!

Jason Shellhammer

Just plain amazing. But make sure you have plenty of time carved out for it.

Sandra Gran

Don't just see Old Faithful ! All the predicted geysers are amazing, some even more spectacular than Old Faithful !

Shannon Jeropke

Check with the rangers or the app for up to date eruption schedules

Joey Carmello

No one here at 8pm in the summer while it’s still light out. Weird, perfect

Neal McFee

If there is still a place to sit you are too early. Sit on the edge of the boardwalk for a front row view .

Katya Killer of Light

Hard to get a photo on a cloudy day. the Water just blends in with the sky but there are enough photos of old faithful anyway right? haha

Jennie

Don't buy batteries in the gift shop . I went through 2 packs (8 batteries) and NONE one them worked, so I was unable to take pictures.

Leo Chun

It's worth the wait to see this live!

Courtney Hardy

Once in a lifetime spot!

Miranda Rowenhorst

Head to the newly built visitors center first... They'll let you know when Old Faithful will erupt next!
