Old Faithful Geyser is a hot spring Teton County located in United States.
U.S. 191 (btwn 20 & 89) Yellowstone National Park , WY 82190 United States
While the crowds line up to see Old Faithful blow, go to the back to see more great geysers . Inside tip: You don't need the benches . Use that waiting time to see the other surrounding geysers .
Consider catching Old Faithful at night. It's still spectacular, and the crowds will be much thinner. Or consider visiting Yellowstone in the winter where your only other companions may be bison !
Make sure to check it out, but be aware of the massive crowds. It goes off every 2 hours, give or take 10 minutes . There is a phone number you can call for the schedule.
Old Faithful is the spot everyone hears about. It's prepared for the crowds as there is a huge watching area. There's plenty to do and eat around the area.
It really is a spectacular sight to behold and will send shivers down your spine (in a good way). A true American icon and wonderful experience.
If you don’t want to battle the crowds in the viewing area you can watch from inside the visitors center or on the boardwalks near the honeycomb geyser .
Erupts every 90 minutes (+|- 10). Great place for a picnic during waiting time. Parking is crazy busy!! Bring some time here!
Use the wind to determine the best place to stand for the eruption . Stand on the side of Old Faithful opposite the way the wind is blowing the steam
Every 90 minutes . No need to sit with the rest. Plenty of vantage points from the beehive path
Old Faithful goes off about every hour and a half. Get to the boardwalk about 15-20 minutes before it goes off for a better view . It gets CROWDED here.
They have a sign that states old faithful’s next eruption time and it gets crowded when the next eruption time is coming near, so be prepared!
Just plain amazing. But make sure you have plenty of time carved out for it.
Don't just see Old Faithful ! All the predicted geysers are amazing, some even more spectacular than Old Faithful !
Check with the rangers or the app for up to date eruption schedules
No one here at 8pm in the summer while it’s still light out. Weird, perfect
If there is still a place to sit you are too early. Sit on the edge of the boardwalk for a front row view .
Hard to get a photo on a cloudy day. the Water just blends in with the sky but there are enough photos of old faithful anyway right? haha
Don't buy batteries in the gift shop . I went through 2 packs (8 batteries) and NONE one them worked, so I was unable to take pictures.
It's worth the wait to see this live!
Once in a lifetime spot!
Head to the newly built visitors center first... They'll let you know when Old Faithful will erupt next!
super crowded ! wait for this!
It is worth it to see Old Faithful but only once.
Big nothing. Times ago it blows higher. Times over..Lodges build...Merchandising Stores r running... There are other ones with more power! Even the Basins are better!
Waiting for the next eruption ? Go to the bar at the Old Faithful Inn and enjoy a frosty pint of Moose Drool while you wait.
Absolutely beautiful!
Bison at Old Faithful
It is impressive, even when you stand there for 20 minutes thinking why am I waiting for this. Stay!

Epic
Waiting for her to blow ...
Великолепно! Можно посмотреть на извержение гейзера несколько раз, ведь он бьет раз в 60-90 минут, расписание есть везде👍
