1 San Geronimo St (San Gerónimo Grounds) San Juan 00901 Puerto Rico
beautiful all around ...I've seen a few roaches BUT "it's IS and island no?" - that's what the staff said lol. I love the stay there I've just began looking out for the bugs I/o the view now when I go
Despite ongoing construction nearby from hurricane Maria, the apartments are a good size, have a doorman , small gym room and nice size pool. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants .
Been here 8 times. Check for Victor at the inside bar , happy go lucky with glasses. If he's not inside he is at the pool bar . Tip him good up front and he will be your best friend all week!
Biked Old and New San Juan today with Rent The Bicycle (rentthebicycle.com). They'll drop off & pick up bikes at most hotels in PR. Traffic moves slow enough to bike on roads , drivers are courteous
The first piña colada was made here! They have a swim up bar and they're the only resort in puerto Rico that has its own private beach
If you stay here for New Year's festivities you have to go to " The Best New Year's Eve Party in Puerto Rico" ask in the concierge for more info or go to www.newyearsevepartypuertorico.com
In 1493, Chris Columbus landed in Puerto Rico, not only discovering this "rich port ," but also the world-famous 'pina colada ' 1st served at the bar of this beautiful hotel . Man, was he thirsty!
looking for a cheap and tasty breakfast ? go across the street to Tropical Cafeteria for meat and rice plates and breakfast sandwiches .
If you're not staying at the hotel , the Conrad right across the walking bridge has a casino . You get 25$ per day of match play
This is the birth place of the Piña Colada ! And it's still the best place on earth to try one!
Stay in the tower part of the hotel , get to the beach early for a spot on the water.. lots of families-singles/couples should explore ocean beach and isla verde for more adult atomophere.
Only private beach in San Juan. Tower area has best rooms. Ocean view rooms are not ocean front. Facilities are run down. First ever pina colada came from here
Staff are great. Excellent restaurant recommendations in Old San Juan :)
Be warned: some of the "ocean view " villas actually give you a view of a lagoon with a heavily trafficked bridge .
Make sure to get to the beach/pool area early to get a chair or a comfy bed to lay on!
Good service . Very nice view from the rooms. The facilities need maintenance, though.
Wow. Speechless about this place! Ocean front view , beautiful beach and pool, nothing more to say :-)
This hotel is amazing and awesome views .... :-) loved it.
Great Atlantic Oceanfront location and it could be paradise, but the property needs new carpet and bathroom upgrades. Sort of a worn out grand old hotel .
It's very far from the rest of the complex! And there is no one at the check in desk after 11pm!
They filmed part of the Disney 'Wizards of Waverly Place' movie here- our kids had fun with that.
Not what I expected. Room does not have wi fi only cable which you have to pay by the day. If you want wi fi you have to go to the lobby. They charge you for parking $16.00 a day. Next time gran melia
Tower rooms are the way to go - pretty decent gym and the ever delicious Morton's
Trivia : Only private beach in Puerto Rico ... why? It's man-made :-)
The shower tower building are awesome!!!!
Nice rooms, good restaurantes, great outdoors
I can't believe this place passed for a 'Hilton'. Very out dated.
I love this hotel ! What a beautiful beach !
The first Piña Colada was made here
