Delicious dessert , very good tea and excellent service - all this as an accessory to the charming atmosphere of a lost time. I enjoyed it enormously and recommend it with pleasure!

Multi-leveled, beautiful view of Kyoto. There's a cafe , French as well as Italian restaurant . Fine dining . Differently decorated rooms to choose from as this used to be a private mansion.

Just don’t order the stew from the cafe menu- bland and old. Coffee is typical Japanese dark roast (burnt) but ok with cream. Desserts look nicer as they have a bakery behind. I love the old feel tho

長楽館の名前は伊藤博文命名。2Fに直筆の扁額が飾られています。

「煙草王」と称された明治時代の実業家村井吉兵衛が円山公園 の一角に建てた別荘。外観はルネサンス様式です
