I love this place. Casino here, pool and parking for very close beach access . I didn't stay here, but I assume the rooms are pricey . Might be worth staying if you enjoy the setting. Starbucks nearby..

Room 1909 was perfect. Ocean front, corner room . Two balconies - one front view of beach and corner balcony faces pool area , rest of beach , cityscape . Gorgeous!

Bring long pants for the evening, the lobby bar definitely has a classier feel & you may well feel out of place or be asked to move on if you're in shorts & flip flops still.

Dragon berry Mojito at the pool bar is yummy! Cabana wing rooms overlooking the pool have great views . Play bingo for drinks at the pool everyday at 3pm

To get to old san juan take the 53 or 21bus route outside of the hotel across from the diamond palace . Its .75 cents so make sure you carry coins, they don't take dollar bills, to get back same routes

Nice hotel and friendly staff . One suggestion: bring your own pillow . The ones provided by the hotel are way too soft and go flat easily.

Ive stayed here over 100 nights. Try asking in advance for a corner tower room facing the pool. These rooms have 2 balconies and are better than suites.

Nice staff , nice location, nice casino , above average room and average bathroom . The bathroom looked old and grimy. It was clean-ish, not like anything gross was in there but it just looked ugly.

Room 2124 is awesome room ... had it on honeymoon, has two side deck overlooking city and ocean....worth the upgrade for special occasion or points.

Make sure the beach bar is open when you plan to go. One day during our vacation they closed it at 4 for a private party(!). Beds are horrendously hard and uncomfortable.

Don't bother with the hotel breakfast place - go across the street where there is a Starbucks and other breakfast places. It will be quicker and cheaper.

Nice hotel , but be aware - they charge $20/night as a "resort fee," they will charge you $9 on your bill to hold on to 2 bags while you are waiting for your room to be ready for check in.

Has $2/$5 Hold Em, but capped at $40 per street (flop, turn, river ); can only bet in +$10 increments. Raise $10 reraise is $20, $20 to $30, $30 to $40. No bluffing here, you'll get called down.
