Very crowded during evenings and things tend to be more expensive here than the other streets. You can carry a falcon on your arm here and take photos for a really small fee.
Massively crowded and not particularly interesting: escape to the smaller streets instead!

Very beautiful and worth going to take a look. You will need the mandatory Old Town protection fee slip (RMB80) and the Mufu Palace ticket (RMB60) to enter. Place is like a smaller Forbidden City. - Elise ❥
