Excellent museum . The ship is impressive. Lots to look at and read! A few hands-on things too. Do see Gjoa ship and film in the next hall. Kept 2 adults and 3 boys easily entertained for over 2 hours.
Better than the maritime museum next door. Interesting and interactive exhibits and you get to explore the entire inside of the ships. Good for 2 hours here!
well presented the story of fram&gjoa polar ships that you can actually see. Do not miss the introductory video at the beginning for better experience of the adventures of the great explorers
Extraordinarily informative and detailed! Lots of exhibits about Amundsen's expeditions to the South and North Poles, as well as other explorers, including Nansen and Scott.
Best museum I've visited for a while! Lots of interesting stuff to see and experiment in a compact space. I love it how the whole exhibition was built around the ship.
A lot to see, even more to read! Very interesting museum over all. Tip: don't forget to see the documentary and the Gjøa ship in the second hall.
Museum of “Fram”, the most famous and the strongest wooden ship built in Norway for polar research. It’s very nice experience to walk in / around the Fram.
Best museum to explore with Oslo Pass . Fram Polar Ship is exciting. Imagine you become polar explorer for a while. Hope you don't need doctor - find his room and his equipment to check why...
Great museum to visit - you get to explore the actual ship and not just look at artefacts behind glass windows . Get 10% off entrance with a hop on hop off ticket.
Very interesting museum with everything you need to know about the Fram ship and Norwegian expeditions to Arctica. You can even enter physically inside the Fram ship .
I like this museum , however, and this may sound silly, the information isn't condensed enough. It's not very interactive and there is a lot of reading. Exploring the ship is cool though.
The best museum in oslo, dont miss the cold room in the second floor.
Very nice museum . Gives you a real feel for the polar expeditions . We are from Canada, and seeing early glimpses of the Canadian North was very neat!
The museum is totally renovated, and is surely Oslo's best tourist attraction ! The ship itself is breathtaking. The kids loved "the dark walk", a polar simulator, freezing fun!!!
The Fram Museum houses the world's most famous polar ship, the Fram. Come on board and join the Norwegian explorers on their fantastic expeditions. Website : http://www.frammuseum.no
Loved the Fram Musset! Used the Oslo pass and got in. Check out the inside of the ship, it's bigger than you think!
Interesting museum , it's hard to believe the things that this ship has experienced. The inner part is the best.
This museum is definitely worth visiting, even to only take a walk on the ship! Amazing experience.
Leave your outdoor clothes in the lockers. It's very warm in the museum and very stuffy inside the ship.
Fantastic! Get the Oslo pass if you are going to do lots of the museums .
Highly recommended if you like the history of Vikings. Not much to do in Oslo anyway.
Great and impressive even for smaller kids. Good for 2 hours visit.
very nice museum . good documentation, wonderful with the two ships!
Nice museum about polar expeditions . Activities for children if you have any :)
Best exhibition in Oslo!
Wonderful interactive museum telling the story of norwegian pioneers!
Great for all ages. The kids loved it! I liked it.
Amazing collection for the Norwegian's venture on the Northern pole.
Better understanding of their national pride! Just like how Gaudi is to Barcelona.
Nice museum . You can get inside the ship. Also a lot of stuff from expedition. Worth visiting.
Very beautiful and interesting place to visit.
History of norwegian polar exploration , cool ship to explore
Yes this is the time worth to go into this Museum and they desvere there medals.
very interesting exposition bout North Pole race!
Great place... so much history and great ways to show it
Very impressive, well organized and the shop is good too :)
Fun, informative and interactive museum .
Not so impressed, but still this is a unique museum ! Fram looks gigantic.
Too much text to read ! I do not understand how Trip Advisor choose this museum "the best of Norway"
It's a good museum . About the polar ship. If you went to the Vasa before, you won't be impressed. And if I had to chose between Frame and Viking Museum , I would go to the vikings
Average museum , very broad. The Kon-Tiki museum next door is a lot more interesting!
You must see the ICE MUMMY !
Go watch the movie and dont foget to explore Fram ship
Looking for the extremes at North and South Pole
renewed museum is absolutely fantastic!
Very interesting museum , the ship is awesome!
Pasionante!
All the cool ships!
Nice museum with a nice history. Impressive statues! Across the street from Fram Museum. If you are at the island, should definitely visit it. - Débora França
Best Museum in the island! Amazing viking ship and history! The museum has 3 ships. It's a small but awesome museum. - Débora França
lots of ship models, few video expositions, few ship rooms of different periods, and much more stuff. Also a nice cafe inside. Get an Oslo card to visit all museums nearby at once - R
Very beautiful park with Vigeland's sculptures. Really nice place to visit by bike. - Renato Fernandes
