I make a point to stop for a Chocolate Crêpe when I visit Firenze. The extra chocolate drizzled on the top would be too rich I think - be certain to order some water!

After trying a dozen gelato while in Florence i can safely say Venchi’s is the best ???? highly recommend Pistachio and hazelnut

I'm not a gelato expert, but I liked the gelato at Venchi more than other places. I especially liked the caramel . Get in line and pay first. Decide your flavor(s) and order at the counter after.

Azteco has the strongest chocolate flavor I’ve ever tasted, it’s more than 80% chocolate with no milk . Also their signature is the one with the ricotta base. Highly recommended.

Ice cream is tasty since it's Italian, but I tasted better ice cream than Venchi, also when you choose a small cup they don't put more than one kind although they can and the others do that

The gelato is nothing spectacular. Not nearly as good as Neri or Santa Trinita or Vivoli. I didn’t try crepes or chocolates , so maybe that’s what the craze is about, or maybe it is just the location.
