Friendly and enthusiastic staff . Cappuccino (8oz) uses a double ristretto. Try the Red Brick espresso blend from Square Mile if it's in.

Michal Bubernik

Great coffee . Great people serving it. Did not try any other in York, we ve just followed Foursquare rating, and we did well ????♥️

David Woods

Top quality coffee . Baristas are engaging, approachable and informed, and very happy to share their knowledge . Seasonal coffee , so no two months are alike - and the filter options are outstanding.

Jawharah????

This is amazing, cosy place , good latte & flat white .. the almond & berries toast is so good

Rachael Pearson

Went here for breakfast , the coffee was amazing as always. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were gorgeous, fluffy, hot mouthfuls of joy!

Oliver Sears

Try the brioche , flapjack or tiffin dipped into a black coffee - beautiful. Their choice of roasters at Spring is stellar; their service is exceptional!

Giles Farrington

The bostock and salt caramel slice are amazing. The coffee is full of flavour and the staff are very welcoming.

Gianpiero Puleo

They know their coffee here, the double espresso was fantastic (and so was their chocolate and hazelnut slice)

Rachel Williams

Best coffee shop in York by a mile. The hot chocolate is to die for. Superb staff and service too.

Dave Milne

Very nice coffee & cakes , but doesn’t have the ambience of the Fossgate Social opposite. Perhaps if the lighting was a little lower?

Laura Mulkerne

Great flat white & brews square mile roasts. Get the chocolate chip shortbread - it's buttery & delicious!

Helen Talaga

Great coffee , lovely homemade cakes and not too expensive . Nice and relaxed

Richard Scott

Amazing coffee and a great range of food. Not many better things to eat in York than the posh bacon sandwich here!

Martin Weibye

Excellent flat white , friendly staff :)

Steve Dyson

Superb Artsian roasted coffee , also single origin brew bar , chinese tea , and home made cakes to die for!!

Thomas Coles

Nice enough place, staff were a bit 'attitudey'. They don't accept contactless. Minimum card use £5. This is the only artisan coffee shop I've come across on my travels not to accept contactless.

Steve Dyson

Ask what blend is in the hopper as it changes with different season around the world or what is new and interesting in coffee

Liv Adshead

Great coffee and amazing menu of homemade sandwiches and cakes

Simon Jones

Great flat white . Try the bake well tart - delicious!

Oii Oii

Nice coffee shop . The mocha is great but there is not enough place to fit a buggy.
