A venue, pub and club in one! This is a popular local hangouts in the West End. They have all sorts of spirits here as this bar is housed in a former church ! Look up and see the red halo shining.
This temple to Scottish dining and drinking is a superb venue in an old church . Giving new meaning to the word ‘conversion’, the brasserie pumps out meals in a dark, Mackintosh-inspired space.

A must see in Glasgow. Fabulous atmosphere, stunning location & exceptional food, wine and service. Recommend booking in advance as is very popular. Try the Cullen Skink . Vast selection of whiskies .
Try 'A play, a pie , a pint' lunchtime theatre . Get there beforehand to get your pie on, then enjoy 45 minutes of up-close and personal storytelling.
Sunday night had a nice Vibe with the acoustic set ... Also sat outside ( warm dry night ), busy corner allowing you to watch the world go bye
Had a great wee night in here after a black tie do at the art gallery .. Next time I must carry gum or mints for the guy at the bar stool
Absolutely stunning location , friendly staff and nicely located close to other sites. Definitely worth to come by for a pint!
Great fun at the nightclub downstairs from 11ish, go down the stone steps on the Great Western Rd side (different entrance to the main space)
An interesting pub in a converted church . Well located in the West End part of Glasgow. No real ale but keg heavy is recommended!
Pub quiz starts at 9.30 Thursday. Very hard! Very well stocked bar for whisky lovers
There are cheaper bistro-style meals, such as Cullen skink (soup made with smoked haddock , potato , onion and milk ) or vegetarian haggis served with Arran mustard sauce .
Beautiful pub inside an old church . Has a great feel and a decent selection.
A pub localed into a church . Awesome decor and tasty haggis !
nice place in nice venue. you can have a play, a pie and a pint for £16 at lunchtime. good for an aftertime to botanic garden .
Good pub , enjoy coming here-the sheep heid looks after the whisky ! ;)
This place has a Bible of whiskey . Which works bc it is in a former church .
Huge but still has atmosphere, excellent staff and food. Expensive but worth it.
Huge pub . Plenty of whisky . Decent beer selection .
Great whiskeys get the malt of the week and a half pint and you have a great start to the night.
Oran mor is the best relaxing and meeting place you will find in the west end . . .
I loved the Oran Mor Gold beer . Very refreshing with a fruity touch.
Former church , re-done really nicely, good bar
The Alastair Gray mural is beautiful. A true hero of Scottish contemporary culture.
The food isn't great, but the gigs here are really worth it. It hosts all genres of music .
I really enjoyed every night I went to Oran Mór, a place to meet interesting people.
Great atmosphere. They will always ask for ID at the door
1/9 i came back to remember. I tried so long to avoid it, but i was going crazy, I needed to be back in the old haunts, see if what I felt was real. see if you were still around. (2/9 @ the Belle)
The house ales are both perfectly reasonable in both quality and cost. And the malt of the month is a bargin at 1.95!
This place is magic itself... Probably the most beautiful pub/restaurant in Maryhill
Great for A Play, A Pie & A Pint
Friendly relaxed atmosphere
A church turned into a pub . A great pub .
Try a Caorunn Gin and tonic , served with a slice of apple . This is the only bar I've found that stocks this specialist Scottish brand. Nice.
Great whiskey selection
Great atmosphere! Then church now pub !
Great beer and location!
It's a church which sells beer !
More relaxed dining is in the conservatory, adjoining the main bar .
A must-visit in Glasgow

This is a good place for a date. You could should take a seat outside as you can see the scenic Byres Road beside it.

A beautiful park in the West End - runners, dog walkers and cyclists alike all hang out here. Very popular in the summer, but a great space to just ‘get away from it all’ - plenty of room for all - Sheetal Revis
Nice Scottish food in an adorable leafy setting. You can order food in “wee” or “big” sizes. Worth checking out when in Glasgow! - Ashley Chan
