Free chocolate all the way around and a chance to make your own chocolate to take away! I had 2 kids with me (4 and 7 years old) and they were mesmerised all the way round. Takes an hour and 10 min

Had a great visit, which we had a tour round which booked in advance. Plenty of chocolate to eat also learnt a lot about the history of chocolate in York. Also get a chance to make your own lollypop.

Ricky Gower

The chocolate tour is great, you get to taste the equivalent form of chocolate to the relevant time period as you progress through the tour . The staff are friendly and knowledgeable aswell

Colin Palgrave

You can taste lots of chocolate , and get to decorate your own chocolate lolly. The little video they show about the history of chocolate is interesting.

Stu Hodgkiss

Although small from the outside this museum is well worth a visit (especially if you like chocolate or have kids or both!)

The museum bit was interesting but costly for what it actually is, but the cafe is tdf! It's an absolute must every time I visit York! Delicious hot chocs ! :)

It's a tenner for adults to get in but you get plenty of free chocolate whilst you're there - well worth the visit.

Syawali Maoc0940

its totally very good to taste it

Andrew Hood

You need to go on the tour

Chris Hinkley

Had a hazelnut hot chocolate and it was way way too sweet. Some of the other options probably would have been better.

Sharon Dorricott

Didn't have time for the tour but had a chocolate tasting. Yum

Stu Hodgkiss

Buy a York City Pass and get in free!

Heba H

Orange dark chocolate

Nicole Pouncey

Hot chocolate is FAR too sweet !!

David Dixon

Tours only every 30 mins (Sunday Jan 2014)

Elaine Charity

Looked ok from outside but it was too expensive to go in.

Sue Starkings

Very expensive

Radikal Zee

Overpriced and absolutely slow service! If you want to indulge in proper hot chocolate , take the door to exit, turn left and take your pick among the many of the local shops!! No, you won't regret it!

Alex Bentham

Expensive and not fantastically interesting. Not recommended i'm afraid.
