I was a bit apprehensive about visiting here but its not as bad as you think it is. Brilliant actors and it was funny, few parts make you jump. Overall good fun.
Don't take kids under 10 - within the group that went around with us were a couple & their girls (8ish) and they kept saying they were so scared they were going to be sick. Amazing experience though!
This is a Must See attraction on my list. It is probably the best one in the city , I should know I live here :)
Make sure you book in advance, not only are ticker prices cheaper but the queue for advance bookers is much smaller than for walkup tickets. Overall a decent 1 hour.
Fantastic place. Great for frights and laughs. Buy your ticket from the York information centre near exhibition square for a discount .
Fun for kids and adults. Scary but not terrifying. Good value for money !
Good fun, worth a visit, but leave the kids at home.
Make sure you visit here - amazing place!
Fun experience but not scary .

Boring, childish, not worth the money. Not enough history involved.
Superb place to take the kids to learn about Viking York. The ride through the streets is brilliant. - Carl Griffin
Take a trip back in time with the Medieval York exhibition - full to the brim with treasures and trophies! - Welcome to Yorkshire
Brilliant views of York and plenty of information to go with it. A national trust site with entry fee that being honest, isn't quite worth what you get! - Martin Mitchell
Haddock, prawn and salmon gratin is out of this world. Enjoy with all the chutneys and finish with a browns bread ice cream sundae - Liam
The extra £5 to go up the tower is definitely worth it - beautiful views. The Minster itself is of course wonderful. - James Gooch
